Al-Khayyat: Launching the guiding guide for the regulatory requirements for construction

His Excellency Engineer Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Khayyat, CEO of the Urban Planning and Development Authority, confirmed that the guideline for the regulatory requirements for construction was launched, in order to facilitate its content for interested citizens and investors, and to contribute to providing a permanent reference that they can rely on, as the guide is characterized by simplified pictures, accompanied by maps and illustrations.

He said that the launch of the guide came on the sidelines of the Urban Planning and Development Authority's participation in the Cityscape Bahrain Real Estate Exhibition 2022, in a way that achieves the visions and aspirations within the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the continuous follow-up of His Highness Royal Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Urban Planning, may God protect him.


Al-Khayyat also explained that the launch of the guide comes in implementation of Resolution No. (56) of 2022 issued by His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to issue regulatory requirements for construction in various regions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, after the approval of the Council of Ministers, and is considered a continuation of the project to modernize the regulatory requirements. For reconstruction, which is considered one of the most important pioneering development projects of interest to the real estate sector in the Kingdom, which aims to unify the requirements of reconstruction and keep pace with the requirements of sustainable urban development.

 

He noted that the guide to the regulatory requirements for construction is a reference for all those interested in the real estate sector, as it explains the regulatory requirements for construction in an easy way that includes all the information related to the conditions of construction.
